He has great merits as an organizer of health services and school hygiene. He published more than 200 scientific papers on this subject. On his initiative, scholarships were funded for high school graduates of the Marsz. St. Malachowski in Plock, who were undertaking medical studies. He was a League of Nations expert on school hygiene. He was also associated with the town of Wisla, where he built the villa "Dabrivka" in the Witkiewicz style. He is buried in the cemetery in Wisla. The elementary school No. 220 in Warsaw and the City Park in Wisla are named after him.
Member of the General Board of the Polish Educational Society in 1908. He was an employee of the Council of the Public Enlightenment Section of the Department of Religious Denominations and Public Enlightenment of the Provisional Council of State.
He is the author of the textbook School Hygiene. A collective handbook for school managers, teachers and school doctors. (Warsaw 1921).
Awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (1930) and the title Officier de l'Instruction Publique.
Stanislaw Kopczynski's great-grandson is journalist Krzysztof Ziemiec.
