Publisher's hard cloth binding with gilt lettering on the front and spine. Good condition, minor rubbing of binding, in vol. 2 repeated binding of vol. 1 (bookbinder's error) - otherwise very good condition.
An unfinished, illustrated, specialized, Polish military encyclopedia. The encyclopedia was edited by an editorial committee of historians, engineers and professional officers of the Polish Army under the editorship of military historian and infantry major Otto Laskowski. The publication contains illustrations, color plates, photographs, maps, strategic maps of battles, technical drawings of equipment. Published in notebooks, which were later bound into volumes by bookbinders. By the outbreak of World War II, 7 volumes were published. Full publication was interrupted by the outbreak of war. Of the 8th volume, only the first notebook came out.
