Władysław Tatarkiewicz (1886-1980) - Polish intellectual: philosopher, historian of philosophy and art historian, ethicist and aesthetician, member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is the author of a well-known textbook on the history of philosophy in Poland entitled History of Philosophy.
Waclaw Tokarz (1873-1937) - Polish historian of national uprisings and military history, professor at Jagiellonian University and Warsaw University, didactician, promoter of the detailed method in historical research, infantry colonel of the Polish Army, member of the Cracow Circle of the Historical Society, member of the provisional board of the Polish Military Treasury in 1912.
